14 Nov 16 Days of Activism Toolkit
16 Days of Activism Against Gender Violence is an international campaign that aims to raise awareness about violence against women and the impact this violence causes to a woman’s well-being. The campaign runs from 25 November, the International Day of the Elimination of Violence Against Women to 10 December, the International Human Rights Day. Both these days highlight that violence against women and children is an abuse of human rights.
DVAC (Domestic Violence Action Centre) has collated a 2019 resource that aims to support community members to get involved. You can access the resource here.
The 2019 theme is “End Gender-Based Violence in the World of Work.”
