Women’s House 50th Birthday

Join us for the Women’s House 50th Birthday celebrating 50 years of collective resistance!    

Come along to an evening filled with live music, theatre, comedy and performances. The Women’s House 50th birthday celebration will be a public event MC’d by Mandy Nolan. With creative performances and interactions by community and First Nation’s Artists we intend to honor Women’s House workers and all survivors of violence with a night of solidarity. 

Alongside the celebration will be an exhibition in the QCAD Project gallery offering a walk-through Herstory from the Women’s House archives.

The exhibition will run from 31 July- 8 August.

This is a free event. Food and drinks will be available onsite.

This event and exhibition is held in Magandjin on the stolen land of Yuggera and Turrbal people. Sovereignty was never ceded.
