04 Apr B-SCENE Community Arts Project
We would like to announce our Third Community Arts Project – B-SCENE!
In 2023 we are focusing on womenâs experience of being believed and acknowledged for the impacts of sexual violence in a visual art exhibition – B-SCENE. The theme for this project is about being seen, heard and believed.
For allies and bystanders to resonate with survivorsâ stories they first need to B-SCENE.
This project aims to resource participants with the skills they desire to support the submission of an intentional art creation. Inviting women & gender diverse folk to take part in the tutorials and workshops, can help to strengthen their skills as artists or learn a new technique and have the space to connect with other people and explore how art and creating it can be used as a powerful language to express, be heard, and facilitate change. The workshops will be followed by an art exhibition both online and a physical.
